While going through my inspiration folders I came across the J.Crew Style Guide, June 2013 and was quickly reminded just how much I loved and still love this story. The images are absolutely beautiful and 2 years later I would still wear everything. Definitely one of my all time favourites.

Not only do I think the clothes are great, but the colours and textures would work amazingly in any home creating a chic, elegant and casual space.

I do apologise for the poor image quality.

This year I decided on something a little different for Halloween. It’s always difficult getting my partner to dress up, so make up and body painting ticked the boxes. Plus with a full face there’s no need for an elaborate outfit. I highly recommend Bia, she knows exactly what she is doing and comes fully prepared with ideas and images. I always know exactly what I want and I loved that Bia was open to my suggestions and not set on doing things exactly her way. I also give her high fives for knowing all the background behind our costume of choice… Sugar Skulls, which are used in the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead.

Her work is amazing!

I absolutely loved this idea when I came across Mackenzie Horan's 101 in 1001 post on her blog, Design Darling a couple years ago. A 101 in 1001 list is essentially 101 things you would like to do in 1001 days or 2.75 years… Mackenzie describes 1001 days as a happy medium between writing a to do list and keeping a bucket list.

Mackenzie is now on her second 101 things in 1001 days list and I secretly finished my first last year and thought it would be fun to upload my second list, which I will be updating as I cross items off.

Definitely take a look at Mackenzie's 1st and 2nd lists as well as find other bloggers lists here - hopefully these will be as inspiring as they were for me.
